This guide walks you through the process of creating a Moment (post), which is identical for both iOS and Android users.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Build a Moment
Starting from the home screen, tap the Create Button (+) located in the middle of the bottom bar. From the options, select Build a Moment.
2. Respond to a Prompt (Optional)
With a Prompt: if you have open prompts from your teachers, tap the Respond to a Prompt button at the top.
Without a Prompt: continue creating your post if it is not linked to a specific assignment.
3. Add Media
You can choose to add media or tap Skip in the upper right corner for a text-only post.
Upload from device: Select existing photos or videos from your gallery.
Capture: Record a photo, video, or audio directly within the Unrulr app.
4. Tag with Cogs
Every post must have at least one COG attached.
These tags allow your post to serve as evidence of specific values or competencies. Select your cogs and tap Next.
5. Write a Caption & Tag Collaborators
Caption: Write a description or reflect on your learning.
Collaborators: Use the @ symbol to tag others involved in the moment.
Tap Next when finished.
6. Choose Groups to Share With
Select the audience for your post:
Students & Teachers: Visible to everyone in the group.
Teachers Only: Visible only to instructors (hidden from peers).
7. Preview and Finalize
Review your post one last time to ensure everything is correct, then tap Post to complete the process.
Viewing Your Post
Once published, you can find your post in:
Your Home Feed
The Self tab
Within the specific groups you selected during the sharing step
